These Terms & Conditions apply when you purchase a Funding Roadmap or another ReadySet service. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
2. The Funding Roadmap service
A ReadySet Funding Roadmap is an individually researched and reviewed assessment of potential funding routes relevant to the project information you provide.
Depending on the project, a Roadmap may include:
an indicative funding approach or funding structure;
potentially relevant grants, supports or finance options;
an assessment of the apparent fit of individual funding routes;
relevant eligibility considerations;
preparation or documentation requirements;
project readiness considerations;
potential funding gaps or alternative routes;
key risks or matters requiring confirmation; and
recommended next steps.
The exact content will depend on the nature of the project and the funding opportunities identified.
3. What the Funding Roadmap does not include
Unless separately agreed in writing, purchasing a Funding Roadmap does not include:
preparing or submitting a grant or finance application;
preparing a business plan or financial projections;
completing application forms;
obtaining quotations, planning documents or other supporting information;
contacting or negotiating with a lender, grant provider or funding body on your behalf;
legal, tax, accounting, investment or regulated financial advice; or
any guarantee that funding will be available or approved.
ReadySet may offer additional assistance after the Roadmap has been delivered. Any such work will be subject to separate agreement and, where applicable, a separate fee.
4. Information you provide
The quality and relevance of a Funding Roadmap depends on the information provided to us.
You agree to provide information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge and to tell us about any material information that could reasonably affect the assessment.
ReadySet is entitled to rely on the information provided and is not responsible for an assessment being incomplete or inaccurate where this results from information that was incorrect, incomplete or omitted.
If we reasonably require clarification or additional information before completing a Roadmap, we may contact you.
5. Research and funding information
ReadySet researches funding opportunities using information and sources considered relevant at the time the Roadmap is prepared.
Funding schemes can change. Funding bodies may amend eligibility criteria, deadlines, available budgets, application processes, assessment criteria or other requirements, and schemes may open, close, be suspended or become oversubscribed.
The information in a Funding Roadmap therefore represents our assessment based on the project information and funding information reasonably available at the time the Roadmap is prepared.
Where a matter requires confirmation directly from a funding provider, the Roadmap may identify this.
You should check current requirements with the relevant funding body before making a final application or financial commitment.
6. Eligibility and funding decisions
Identification of a grant, support, loan or other funding route in a Funding Roadmap does not constitute confirmation that you are eligible for it.
ReadySet does not make eligibility or funding decisions on behalf of grant providers, government bodies, lenders or other funding organisations.
All applications remain subject to the relevant provider's own criteria, assessment, available funding and decision-making process.
ReadySet does not guarantee that any funding application will be accepted or that any particular amount of funding will be secured.
7. Where no suitable funding route is identified
The purpose of ReadySet is to provide an objective assessment rather than to guarantee that a funding opportunity will be identified.
In some cases, our assessment may conclude that there is no strong or immediately suitable external funding route for a project.
Where this occurs, the Roadmap may identify alternative approaches, matters that could improve future funding readiness or areas requiring further investigation.
The absence of a suitable funding opportunity does not, by itself, mean that the ReadySet service has not been provided.
8. Price and payment
The price of a Funding Roadmap is the price displayed on the ReadySet website at the time you place your order.
The total price payable will be shown before payment is completed.
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. ReadySet does not store your complete payment-card details.
Payment must be successfully completed before work on the Funding Roadmap begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Delivery
Your completed Funding Roadmap will be delivered electronically to the email address provided when ordering.
ReadySet will deliver the Funding Roadmap within 3 working days after both:
the completed project questionnaire has been received; and
successful payment has been received.
If we require material additional information from you before we can reasonably complete the assessment, the delivery period may be paused until that information is received. We will tell you if this occurs.
For these Terms, a working day means Monday to Friday excluding public holidays in Ireland.
10. Cancellation rights
If you purchase the service as a consumer and applicable Irish consumer law gives you a statutory right to cancel, you generally have 14 days from the date the service contract is concluded to cancel without giving a reason.
Because ReadySet is designed to begin researching your project promptly and deliver your Funding Roadmap within 3 working days, you will be asked to expressly request that ReadySet begins providing the service during the 14-day cancellation period.
If you make that request and then exercise an applicable cancellation right before the Funding Roadmap has been completed, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the service already supplied up to the time you tell us that you wish to cancel.
Once the Funding Roadmap service has been fully performed, you will no longer have the statutory right to cancel where, before performance began, you expressly requested that the service begin during the cancellation period and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel once the service had been fully performed.
This does not affect your statutory rights where the service is not supplied as agreed or otherwise fails to conform to applicable consumer law.
11. How to cancel
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, you can exercise it by contacting:
Email: hello@readyset.ie
and clearly stating that you wish to cancel the contract.
You do not have to give a reason.
You may also use the following model cancellation wording:
To NextStep Business Solutions T/A ReadySet:
I hereby give notice that I wish to cancel my contract for the ReadySet service ordered on [date].
Name:
Email address used for the order:
Date:
Where a refund is due following a valid statutory cancellation, it will be made in accordance with applicable law and normally using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
The Consumer Rights Act requires reimbursement within 14 days where the statutory cancellation provisions require a refund.
12. Problems with the service
If you believe that your Funding Roadmap has not been supplied as agreed, please contact us at hello@readyset.ie and explain the issue.
Where applicable consumer law applies, you retain the statutory remedies available to you. Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude or restrict those rights.
13. Additional services
A Funding Roadmap is intended to provide you with sufficient information to understand and, where appropriate, progress the identified funding opportunities yourself.
If you ask ReadySet to provide additional assistance, such as application preparation, financial projections, supporting documentation or engagement with a lender or funding provider, we may provide a separate quotation or engagement proposal.
You are under no obligation to purchase additional services.
14. Intellectual property and use of the Roadmap
ReadySet retains ownership of its underlying templates, methodology, document design, processes and other intellectual property used to produce Funding Roadmaps.
Once paid for, you may use the completed Funding Roadmap for the purposes of assessing, planning and progressing the project for which it was prepared and may share it with relevant advisers, committee members, lenders or funding bodies where reasonably required for that project.
You may not resell, commercially reproduce, publish as your own product, or use the ReadySet template or methodology to provide a competing commercial service without our written permission.
15. Responsibility for decisions
A Funding Roadmap is intended to assist you in understanding potential funding routes and deciding what to investigate or progress.
You remain responsible for decisions concerning your project, expenditure, applications, borrowing and financial commitments.
Before entering into a loan, making a significant financial commitment or taking legal, tax or accounting action, you should obtain appropriate professional advice where required.
16. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so or seeks to exclude any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to those rights and applicable law, ReadySet is not responsible for losses arising solely because:
a funding provider changes or withdraws a scheme after the Roadmap is prepared;
an application is unsuccessful;
a funding provider reaches a different view on eligibility;
information supplied to ReadySet was inaccurate or incomplete; or
you make a decision contrary to a qualification, warning or recommendation clearly identified in the Roadmap.
ReadySet will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the service.
17. Privacy and personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our website also uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
18. Changes to these Terms
The Terms that apply to your purchase are those made available to you when you place your order.
We may update these Terms from time to time for future purchases to reflect changes to our services, processes or legal obligations.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the Terms applicable to a service already purchased unless required by law or agreed with you.
19. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Where you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory protections or rights available to you under applicable law.
